I bought this cable for using a VR headset, Valve Index, at range and it works perfectly!I got another cable, exchanged even, that couldn't do any more then 2.0 speeds despite its advertising. It's worth it just to grab this one for VR or even full on data transfers like with a portable SSD as I tested it with. Without full 3.0 speed the cameras on the Index don't work for the pass through and safety net.
