I have been wanting an economical color laser printer for a while. I saw this refurbished model with the 90 day Amazon guarantee and decided to give it a try.The laser printer arrived in a plain brown box. It was packaged like it was brand new and included easy start instructions. I recommend that you download the full owners manual off of HP's website so you can easily learn how to operate this model. The buttons are pretty intuitive but if you needed to do more than basic scanning or copying, the owners manual has more details.The laser printer arrived with the three color and black toner cartridges already installed. They are starter toner cartridges not full versions. I have made plenty of prints already and have hardly moved the toner remainder display columns.The black and white pages are crisp and clean. The color pages are the same but I think the color is just a little flat compared to my Epson Artisan 730 inkjet printer. I use both printers for different projects. I will still use the color function of the laser printer and I think it is still worth the price I paid.There are aftermarket non HP toner cartridges available for a really reasonable price and I will be purchasing those when needed. The price of the refills is one of the main reason I chose this particular model. That and the cost of the printer. Both are really reasonable for someone on a tight budget.I have enjoyed using this printer and am very happy with my purchase. I can not tell this refurbished printer from a brand new version. There are no nicks, dings or scratches. Every thing was packed up like a brand new version.
