This filament is great for hiding the layer lines and other imperfections that are always present in 3D printing. Some of the prints I've done are so good you would never know it was 3D printed. No clogging issues at all. Using a 0.6mm nozzle.I somehow came across this when I searched for color-changing PLA filament.....It intrigued me enough however, that I bought a spool to try it.When used to print certain objects, this filament looks absolutely gorgeous. It will add an artistic twist to other objects. I don't consider myself an expert in 3D printing, but this filament was really easy to dial in as well.To give examples for my first statement, I 3D printed a dolphin with this, and it looks amazing. The dolphin is currently being used in a WIP project, so I don't have photos of it at this time. If you've used a "marble" style PLA filament, this CCTREE filament will look familiar. Prints look like they're made from a unique, blue hued marble stone. For the dolphin, it added a very unique aesthetic!Browsing on Thingiverse, I found some files a gentleman uploaded which, when printed then assembled with a coin cell battery and LED, would give you a 3D printed motorcycle styled keychain flashlight.I printed some to give away to friends, and used several different filaments, including this one. I got mixed reactions from the motorcycle light printed from this filament. People either thought it seemed a bit out of place, while others really liked how unique the motorcycle light looked, especially since the dark flecks in this filament really stood out when you turned the LED on. The co-worker I gave it to proudly displays and shows it off, so it's interesting to see people's reactions to it.Speaking of the dark flecks, I've been concerned that they might clog my printer's .4mm diameter nozzle, but I've since printed a few more items with this filament and haven't had any issues in that regard. So if you're looking for a unique PLA filament to try, I highly recommend this, regardless if you have a low end or high end printer, and are a beginner or experienced professional.Fantastic roll of filament for a pretty good price. All prints I made using this came out looking beautiful. (after some sanding, of course!)However, be warned that if you plan to keep your filament out for over two-three weeks in the air, it may end up becoming brittle like mine did. This was mainly my fault, as I should have put it back in the box when I wasn't using it.It would be nice if CCTree would include a small piece of paper warning users new to 3D Printing about how humidity can ruin the filament if left out for too long. Besides that, great product!A beautiful filament! It's a light sky blue that's just slightly between transparent and opaque (a little more opaque) flecked with lots of tiny tiny bits of blue giltter and speckles. It's really cool when it catches the light, it's a bit difficult to describe so I hope my pictures show it. It prints easy at 200c. I am currently using a 0.5 mm nozzle at 60mm/sec on my cr-10 stock hotend with petsfang and have not had any clogs or jams with it. The flecks are very small but I don't think using smaller that 0.4 is advisable. The black cctree PLA I purchased worked so well that I decided to give the new marble PLA a try and could not be more pleased with the results. Once again packaging was excellent and after a couple days of using it no brittle breaks no tangles and great prints with it. The vase I printed with it came out amazing. Cctree may be my new go to for my fillaments now. I print at 220 degrees and .2mm layer height. The vase was printed at .15mm layer height because I wanted it more smooth.Easy to print and layer lines becomes almost invisible thanks to the texture of this filament. The surface is a little bit rougher than your standard PLA (thanks to the small shiny flecks), but this actually makes even less than perfect prints look flawless. This is a great filament if you don't plan to do any post-processing (such as painting).Printed Michelangelo's David with great success. Sanding was easy and the model retained its smooth coloration. I'm very happy with this filament. I will add that it doesn't stay tightly wound on the spool like my Prusament spool, but it isn't getting tangled. (Update: the winding of the spool is like any other 20$ filament; it's perfectly fine)I ordered the Marble Twinkling and regular Marble PLA's from CCTREE in the same order. The regular marble prints great no issues. This stuff clogged a nozzle with my typical settings. I set that one aside to clean, replaced with a brand new .4mm nozzle and upped the temp. This stuff would not extrude at less than 235 degree's, even then I had to drop speed to 70% on a 50mms print to stop the extruder from binding. and even still, it came out horribly, super low flow rate, and would not stick to the bed. It was then a pain to clean the nozzle out to put a new filament in. It also smelled horribly at this temp and offgassed really bad. I question if this was even PLA, even though it was listed as such. I do not know how others even got this stuff to print, it was horrible. I now needed to order new nozzles because of this.
