Other reviews mention a lot of issues, so take my review with a note that I have only printed this filament with large nozzles and I have probably entirely avoided those issues. I wanted to do some fast vase mode prints with a 1mm nozzle and this filament has turned out some gorgeous prints. I've included pics of some easter eggs, a watering bulb, and a faucet adapter I've printed with this filament.Filament is gorgeously clear. The other reviews mention inclusions and on inspection I did find a few dark specs in mine, but they have not yet affected my print quality. Filament is a little brittle, bending it sharply tends to snap it when other filaments tend to flex, but I still had no trouble at all feeding it into my bowden tube, though pulling it out it would sometimes snap off and require that I push through another filament to get it out of the hotend. Prints just fine at 195 with my glass bed at 60. No problems with layer adhesion, despite the seemingly brittle filament, once it goes through the hotend, the prints are quite strong with subtle flex (ideal for my watering bulbs) - in fact so strong I had trouble trimming the tips of the watering bulbs I made! Spool was well-wound, no tangles, received vac-sealed with desiccant, like all the spools I've gotten from 3DS. So far I've been satisfied with every roll I've received from them.I prefer not to write a negative review and tend to skip doing so in most cases, but I feel like I should write up some review for this product.Solutech is a great filament brand and I have not had any issues regarding other filaments they make, but this particular transparent filament jams up the print heads, the material has ok adhesion and can be printed with, but after a short time the filament will jam and ruin the print, it has happened with this filament on multiple attempts and on multiple machines, each time I had to take apart the extruder on each printer and replace parts from print nozzles, to extruder tubes, some Bowden tubing. This clear material has small hard particles inside the filament which are clearly visible, these small particles are the areas where the printers tend to jam up or get clogged.I am leaving a 3 star review for this filament because I like the company that sells the filament and have no issue with Solutech products otherwise, and so this review is just against this premium natural clear filament. This is generally excellent filament, but I have occasionally gotten a roll when either parts or most of it is overly brittle, and the filament will snap just while coming unwound off the spool, which generally means a failed print. Suffice to say, this is infuriating. Like 9 out of 10 rolls will be just good filament, but since I buy so much, I've got 2 full rolls sitting around of this stuff which is too brittle to use.I noticed that this filament does not flex nearly as a well as the other PLA I purchased by 3D Solutech. I think it is just the nature of the material. With that said, once I carefully fed it into my printer, I had no issues printing and it came out great. I'd probably recommend a raft or wide brim to make sure it sticks. I consider this a trade-off for the very clear material that you get. This filament snapped right out of the package. I thought I would try to dry it in my dehydrator for a couple days but it still snapped quite easily. Decided to go ahead and print with it anyway and the prints turned out pretty good. This is the first time I have ever tried a clear filament so maybe it is just the nature of clear a filament.I ordered 4 rolls of this PREPLANUT CLR Natural Clear (Lot # G2007002), and am amazed at the quality of prints and the strength that I get with this. I am using it to build r/c model airplanes with 0.4 mm thin walls with very little stringing or other artifacts. Using a Creality Ender 3 v2, I print the first two layers at 210° and a bed temperature of 60°. The remaining layers are printed at 203° Out of 11 prints, all over 7 hours, I had one failure when the piece came loose from the bed about 4 1/2 hours into the print.I mentioned the lot number because I have seen so many negative reviews regarding this particular batch.I've used 3D Solutech in the past, including the "Natural Clear" which I purchased this time around and in the past it's been just fine. But holy crow, I spent an entire week (and a half roll of my new filament) experiencing nothing but sheer frustration. I would start a print. It would jam. Sometimes in 20 minutes, sometimes in 10 hours (I was trying to finish the last part of a large job). I tried another extruder, I even purchased a replacement hotend. I tried and discarded something like four nozzles. I was about to completely re-wire my printer and get new fans. Surely it couldn't be the filament? I've used an older roll of this brand and color for the entirety of this multi-part print (and lots of things before it) and it's been fine. On a whim, I swapped out the filament for another brand and color and tried the same 18-hour print. It was flawless. The problem was the 3D Solutech filament. I've used it in the past, but this one (Lot G2007002) was an absolute nightmare... like an "I'm about to take a sledgehammer to this printer" level of frustration.I've loved their products in the past, but this was bad enough to swear me off of them.Typically, I'm a big fan of Solutech's PLA. I've had no issues with any of their other filaments. However, for me, the clear filament tends to be brittle. First roll of clear broke 6 different times, in various places, before extruder, after extruder, and various places within the bowden tube. I purchased another roll of clear thinking it was just a bad roll, and unfortunately had the same result. I didn't want to give up, so I tried drying the filament in my filadryer.........same results. So basically I have 2 rolls of clear collecting dust. I have many other rolls of Solutech that print flawlessly, maybe just a bad batch?
