Filament is shipped in a vacuum sealed bag with descant, I was glad to see the bag was sealed well and made the satisfying hiss when opening, had a few filament spools come in and either weren't vacuum sealed or had lost their vacuum.This bright blue filament has been great to work with so far. I didn't adjust any of my current PLA print settings to get this printing for me. (200c hotend, 45c bed, 0.2mm layers). Printed a small jar and lid, as well as a turtle body and head, no weird blobbing or stringing. All items were printed on my mostly stock Ender3v2.I only bought the small spool to test this filament out, but the color is great and the filament has been printing so well, I plan on buying a larger spool to keep this color on hand.Extremely Brittle, snapped just trying to get it out of the storage holes in the side of the spool to use it the first time.Held onto the PEI plate for 10 or 20 passes then let's go when using the temps on the label on the spool. Tried twice and it did the same thing.I have a budget ($100) printer that doesn't have many bells and whistles and can't do very complicated stuff. This filament has outperformed about 8 of the filaments I've tried, but comes in behind 3 others. The print quality is nice and it adheres relatively well to the non-heated build plate, but I still have some trouble getting it started at times - it just doesn't adhere to the plate and I have to try two or three times before getting a successful start (where with the top 3 filaments I generally don't have this problem). It was able to almost finish a relatively complicated (for my printer) print, but the filament didn't adhere to itself quite strongly enough and the print toppled over. Overall, it's a solid 4 stars, just not quite the 5 stars that I've found in other brands.Nice silver toned PLA from BIQU. Spool is neatly wound and properly packaged in a vacuum sealed pouch containing a silica packet. This filament did not require any special treatment and worked great with my default PLA settingsSETTINGS:* Printer: Neptune 2* Nozzle temp: 200c* Bed temp: 50c* Bed material: stock build plate* Speed: 50mm/s* Nozzle: 0.4mm* Layer: 0.2mmCOLOR:This is a medium shade of grey with a subtle silver tone to it. The silver isn't very visible from most angles, but its there. The filament has a semi- matte finish, satin like finish.RESULTS:More sensitive to bed leveling than most PLA, any deviation from a perfectly level print bed will cause problems while trying to print the initial layers. Once I made sure my bed was super mega leveled to the max, it printed fine. Layers are clean, edges are sharp, finish is smooth and crisp. Zero issues during loading filament or while printing. Great bed adhesion as well.FINAL VERDICT:Not as silvery as I'd hoped, but a nice filament nonetheless.Simply put, this BIQU Filament is one of the best on the market in this price range. It prints amazingly well. No clogging and consistent flow. Not brittle like some of the other brands.Color is smooth and beautiful final finish. It is strong and holds up well. I have no issues with clogging or bed adhesion. It sticks to the bedplate well using 60 degs and 205 degs for the hotend.All in all this is a really good filament that I enjoy using. Well worth a full 5 stars!This filament works great and after calibrating temperatures to make sure we found the best temp for the printer and this filament combo we didn’t have any issues with it. This is a nice silver filament that is good quality and prints well with the 3D printer.Printed sample objects to validate strength and cleanliness of the PLA at 200 extruder and 60 base to find that all printed as expected outside of an annoying leveling issue on my Ender 3 pro. Now that testing is out of the way, around the clock printing will resume with little concern of issues.Nice consistent baby blue color. This filament comes in nice retail styled packaging with clear labeling both on the packaging and spool. And printed easily within the stated specifications. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
